My name is Debbie and I live in Arkansas, USA. My nickname is mesweet. That is what I am called on the chat program Mirc. It is because of Mirc that I was able to visit Sweden. On Mirc I met Björn Eriksson whom lives in Sweden and as we got to know each other we became friends and decided to purchase a plane ticket for me to fly to Sweden, Dutch treat. I would depart from Memphis Airport in Tennesse and arrive at Luleå Airport in Sweden.
As the time drew nearer for me to begin my trip I began to develop cold feet (not nearly as cold as when I stepped off that airplane in Swedish tundra). From Arkansas, USA to Malmberget, Sweden isn't a drive around the block. But skittish or not, off I went. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Do I have regrets that I ventured? No, because I ventured and gained cherished memories, meeting wonderful people and the opportunity to visit the beautiful country of Sweden. I would like to share with you my wonderful experience. I hope you enjoy your visit to Sweden.
